This Ahi Tuna Salad with Green Tea Dressing is sure to be a hit with your customers.
One 2-inch piece of fresh ginger, grated
½ cup brewed Red Diamond green tea
Small bunch of carrots, cut into matchsticks
1Prepare the dressing by putting together grated ginger, toasted sesame seed oil, green tea, agave, soy sauce and apple cider vinegar in a food processor.
2Store the dressing in the fridge to cool.
3Season the tuna with salt and pepper.
4In a medium-high pan, drizzle olive oil. Add tuna to the pan and cook for around 1 to 2 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and add sesame seeds on top. Slice the tuna against the grain in ½ inch slices.
5Toss mixed greens with salad dressing, carrot matchsticks, sliced radishes and almond slivers. Serve with tuna slices on top.
