According to the National Coffee Association:
More than 64% of Americans drink a cup of coffee every day. This represents more than 150 million daily drinkers.
30% of the population drinks coffee occasionally.
Coffee stats show that among coffee drinkers the average consumption in the U.S. is 3.1 cups of coffee per day.
26% say they drink one cup a day, 19% drink two, 8% drink three, 11% drink four or more. The remaining 36% drink none.
Specialty Coffee Sales on the Rise
Specialty coffee sales increased 20% per year and account for nearly 8% of the $18 billion dollar U.S. coffee market.
