Strawberry Basil Iced Tea

A summer slender straight from the garden- blending strawberries and basil with freshly brewed Red Diamond® Iced Tea.


4 cups water

2 family-sized Red Diamond® Iced Tea bags

2/3 cup sugar

1 Tbsp. lemon juice

1 pint fresh strawberries, and more for garnish, if desired

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, as a garnish


1Fill a glass measuring cup with 2 cups water and add the tea bags

2Microwave 3 minutes on high

3Add the sugar to hot tea until it is dissolved

4In a blender combine 2 cups water, lemon juice and strawberries

5Pulse mixture until well blended

6Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher of ice and combine with the hot tea mixture

7Garnish with basil leaves and extra strawberries if desired
