Mocha Mousse

Cold Brew | Desserts | Iced
A decadently sweet blend of chocolate and coffee, this Mocha Mousse brings a unique elegance to your dessert offerings. Serve individually or as a dish to share. It can even be prepared a day in advance.
Mocha Mousse

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 4 oz. Red Diamond® High Altitude Colombian Coffee, brewed
  • 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 large, pasteurized eggs
  • 1.5 cups whipping cream, whipped

Directions

  1. Put sugar and coffee in a small saucepan and bring just to a boil
  2. Simmer 3 minutes
  3. Put chocolate chips into a blender or processor and add coffee/sugar
  4. Blend for 10 seconds
  5. Add eggs and blend for 1 minute
  6. Let cool for 5-10 minutes
  7. Fold chocolate mixture into whipped cream (Fold gently but completely until the mixture is no longer streaky)
  8. Pour into one serving dish or individual dishes and refrigerate
  9. May be made the day before needed
