Make time to dress up your tea with a little Thai. Refreshing, creamy, and distinctively delicious, this Thai Iced Tea recipe is easy to make and even easier to drink.
Ingredients
6 Red Diamond individual tea bags
2 ½ cups water
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 whole star anise
1 tablespoon whole cardamom
1 cinnamon stick
2 teaspoons ground turmeric
2 tablespoons sugar
¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons evaporated milk
Directions
Place tea bags, water, vanilla, star anise, cardamom, cinnamon, turmeric and sugar in a medium-sized pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes.
Pour tea mixture through a fine mesh strainer and chill.
Pour into two glasses filled with ice.
Combine sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk. Pour over tea and stir.
